ONLINE Conversational Voice Over
with Barbara Niles - Saturday, February 21st, 11 AM - 2 PM
About Your Class:
The Art and ABCs of the Conversational Read • ONLINE • 3 Hours • Limited to 8 Students “Talk to me like a real person. Natural. Authentic. No announcers, please!” If you’ve auditioned for commercials lately, you’ve seen these specs again and again. And while we all know how to have a conversation in real life, delivering a truly bookable conversational read is an entirely different skill. In this intensive, you’ll learn how to strip away the “performance” and tap into a grounded, relatable delivery that connects with casting. You’ll practice: Commercial Conversational vs. Everyday Conversational - why they’re different, and how to nail the one that books jobs. The ABC Read - how to deliver multiple fresh, believable takes on the same script without sounding repetitive. Self-Direction Skills - trusting your instincts while staying connected to the story. Whether you’re brand new or a seasoned pro looking to sharpen your edge, you’ll walk away with tools to make your auditions stand out in one of the most in-demand styles in voice-over.
