Join award-winning actor Valerie Lohman for an evening focused on helping you strengthen your audition technique and develop performances that feel honest, specific, and memorable. Valerie first captured audiences as Edith Finch in What Remains of Edith Finch, earning a BAFTA nomination for Best Performance. Since then, they've voiced unforgettable characters across AAA and indie games alike, including Wylde Flowers, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, Blacktail, Class of '09, and Project Songbird. Their voice can also be heard in Look Back, The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep, Tower of God, Ishura, Maboroshi, and Ōoku: The Inner Chambers, in addition to narrating more than 45 audiobooks. In this interactive workshop, Valerie will share their approach to video game auditions, exploring what helps performances stand out in today's industry. Through live direction and personalized feedback, you'll work on making strong, grounded choices, navigating a variety of character types, and finding the balance between technical precision and authentic storytelling. A passionate coach since 2021, Valerie is dedicated to helping actors build confidence, trust their instincts, and continue growing their artistry. Whether you're just beginning your journey into game VO or looking to refine your audition skills, you'll leave with practical tools you can bring into your very next audition. Please Note: This workshop is for educational purposes only and is designed to help actors develop their craft. Participation does not constitute or guarantee employment, representation, or an audition for any project.

NOTE: You will receive both a confirmation email right after you register and a reminder email 24 hours before the class. The emails will contain all the information needed to prepare you for class. If you cannot locate your confirmation email, please check your spam folder or promotions tab (gmail) before contacting us! Policies for Online Classes: • All classes are recorded, and links to view or download them are provided to all enrolled students within three days after the class. • If, for any reason, you can not make the date/time of class, you will still be given access to view the entire workshop with the recorded video. Equipment and Attendance: • Professional gear is not required, but students must have a phone, tablet, or computer with reliable access to Zoom, a camera, and audio. • Cameras are mandatory for class and must be turned on for the duration of the beginning portion of class. Once attendance is taken and class has started, cameras may be turned off at the discretion of the instructor. Cancellation Policy:  • Payment is only refundable if cancelled at least 72 hours before the event. Funds will be returned to the original form of payment. • If cancellation occurs prior to 48 hours before the start of the event, but less than 72 hours before the event, payment will be nonrefundable, but may be rolled over to another workshop. • For any cancellation occurring less than 48 hours before the start of the workshop, payment will be forfeited.
