Main Character Energy: Animation & Games with Sarah Natochenny • Online Guest Director Workshop • March 17 | 6–9 PM Pacific | On Zoom • $150 Participant | $50 Audit Train with one of the most iconic voices in modern animation. Sarah Natochenny - Webby and Voice Arts® Award-winning actor and the voice of Ash Ketchum on Pokémon since 2006 - joins RVLA for a special three-hour online guest director workshop. With leading roles across global animation, anime, video games, podcasts, and film, Sarah has built a career playing the characters at the center of the story. In this session, participants will read animation and/or video game copy and receive live direction and coaching from Sarah. You’ll focus on grounded, connected performances, bold character choices, and the kind of authenticity that keeps you in the running for lead roles. The class wraps with a Q&A, where Sarah will share insights about her career path, working across formats, and what today’s directors are really listening for. Limited to 12 active participants. Policies for Online Classes: • All classes are recorded, and links to view or download them are provided to all enrolled students within three days after the class. • If, for any reason, you can not make the date/time of class, you will still be given access to view the entire workshop with the recorded video. Equipment and Attendance: • Professional gear is not required, but students must have a phone, tablet, or computer with reliable access to Zoom, a camera, and audio. • Cameras are mandatory for class and must be turned on for the duration of the beginning portion of class. Once attendance is taken and class has started, cameras may be turned off at the discretion of the instructor. Cancellation Policy: • Payment is only refundable if cancelled at least 72 hours before the event. Funds will be returned to the original form of payment. • If cancellation occurs prior to 48 hours before the start of the event, but less than 72 hours before the event, payment will be nonrefundable, but may be rolled over to another workshop. • For any cancellation occurring less than 48 hours before the start of the workshop, payment will be forfeited.
