Join voice director and casting professional Chris Faiella for a live online workshop focused on performance, direction, and what makes actors stand out in today’s voiceover industry. In this workshop, actors will perform live for Chris and receive direction and feedback in real time. This is a chance to sharpen your acting choices, strengthen your audition instincts, and gain perspective from someone actively working behind the scenes on major game titles. Whether you’re already auditioning professionally or looking to better understand what directors are listening for, this class is designed to help you bring more specificity, truth, and confidence into your reads. Please note: This workshop is a learning experience only and is not an audition or employment opportunity. Per California law, instructors will not receive headshots, resumes, or demo reels for the purpose of employment consideration. About Chris: Chris Faiella is a freelance voice director and writer, working in videogames, animation, and film. His VO directing work is featured in several BAFTA award-winning videogame titles and he's written / voice directed for some of the largest companies in the industry, including: Blizzard, Sony, Bethesda, Disney, Warner Brothers, Netflix, Bungie, miHoYo, Arkane, Square Enix, ArenaNet, Capcom, and Gearbox. Some of his most recent projects include: Overwatch 2, Genshin Impact, World of Warcraft, Helldivers 2, Diablo 4, Guild Wars 2 and City: The Animation. Additionally, he's a frequent guest VO director at various voice over classes across Los Angeles. Chris's background includes time spent at Silver Pictures (Sherlock Holmes, Die Hard, The Matrix) assisting the development team on feature films. Chris earned his BA in Film from Emerson College in Boston, MA in 2006, and currently resides in Burbank, California.

NOTE: You will receive both a confirmation email right after you register and a reminder email 24 hours before the class. The emails will contain all the information needed to prepare you for class. If you cannot locate your confirmation email, please check your spam folder or promotions tab (gmail) before contacting us! Policies for Online Classes: • All classes are recorded, and links to view or download them are provided to all enrolled students within three days after the class. • If, for any reason, you can not make the date/time of class, you will still be given access to view the entire workshop with the recorded video. Equipment and Attendance: • Professional gear is not required, but students must have a phone, tablet, or computer with reliable access to Zoom, a camera, and audio. • Cameras are mandatory for class and must be turned on for the duration of the beginning portion of class. Once attendance is taken and class has started, cameras may be turned off at the discretion of the instructor. Cancellation Policy: • Payment is only refundable if cancelled at least 72 hours before the event. Funds will be returned to the original form of payment. • If cancellation occurs prior to 48 hours before the start of the event, but less than 72 hours before the event, payment will be nonrefundable, but may be rolled over to another workshop. • For any cancellation occurring less than 48 hours before the start of the workshop, payment will be forfeited.
