In this online workshop, Michael will guide you through the art of creating unique, believable, and bookable vocal characters. You’ll learn: •Create characters that pop – build voices with personality, humor, depth, and edge. •Expand your range – switch gears between anime villains, quirky animation sidekicks, and epic game heroes. •Book roles in today’s market – get tips from someone who’s been on both sides of the mic as an actor and ADR director. •Practice with scripts & live feedback – so you leave with tools you can use in auditions right away. Beyond acting, he has extensive experience directing ADR and dubbing, giving him unique insight into what producers and directors look for when casting talent. NOTE: You will receive both a confirmation email right after you register and a reminder email 24 hours before the class. The emails will contain all the information needed to prepare you for class. Be sure to add info@realvoicela.com to your contacts to avoid your emails ending up in a spam, junk, or promotions folder. If you cannot locate your confirmation email, please check your spam folder or promotions tab (gmail) before contacting us! Policies for Online Classes: • All classes are recorded, and links to view or download them are provided to all enrolled students within three days after the class. • If, for any reason, you can not make the date/time of class, you will still be given access to view the entire workshop with the recorded video. Equipment and Attendance: • Professional gear is not required, but students must have a phone, tablet, or computer with reliable access to Zoom, a camera, and audio. • Cameras are mandatory for class and must be turned on for the duration of the beginning portion of class. Once attendance is taken and class has started, cameras may be turned off at the discretion of the instructor. Cancellation Policy: • Payment is only refundable if cancelled prior to 72 hours before the event. Funds will be returned to the original form of payment. • If cancellation occurs prior to 48 hours before the start of the event, but less than 72 hours before the event, payment will be nonrefundable, but may be rolled over to another workshop. • For any cancellation occurring less than 48 hours before the start of the workshop, payment will be forfeited.
