Step into the world of auditioning for anime voiceover with acclaimed voice actress Karen Strassman, whose dynamic career spans hundreds of roles across anime, animation, and video games. Known for her versatility and emotional depth, Karen has brought to life fan-favorite characters such as Kallen Stadtfeld in Code Geass and Momo Hinamori in Bleach, showcasing both powerful intensity and heartfelt vulnerability. In this interactive online class, students will explore the art and technique of auditioning specifically for anime. Through live coaching, script work, and mock audition scenarios, participants will gain insight into what casting directors and studios are really looking for. Whether you’re new to voice acting or looking to refine your anime audition skills, this class offers a rare opportunity to learn directly from a seasoned professional who has voiced everything from high-energy heroes to complex supporting characters. NOTE: You will receive both a confirmation email right after you register and a reminder email 24 hours before the class. The emails will contain all the information needed to prepare you for class. If you cannot locate your confirmation email, please check your spam folder or promotions tab (gmail) before contacting us! Policies for Online Classes: • All classes are recorded, and links to view or download them are provided to all enrolled students within three days after the class. • If, for any reason, you can not make the date/time of class, you will still be given access to view the entire workshop with the recorded video. Equipment and Attendance: • Professional gear is not required, but students must have a phone, tablet, or computer with reliable access to Zoom, a camera, and audio. • Cameras are mandatory for class and must be turned on for the duration of the beginning portion of class. Once attendance is taken and class has started, cameras may be turned off at the discretion of the instructor. Cancellation Policy: • Payment is only refundable if cancelled at least 72 hours before the event. Funds will be returned to the original form of payment. • If cancellation occurs prior to 48 hours before the start of the event, but less than 72 hours before the event, payment will be nonrefundable, but may be rolled over to another workshop. • For any cancellation occurring less than 48 hours before the start of the workshop, payment will be forfeited.
