In this online guest director workshop, you’ll read copy and receive live direction and feedback from Heather Dame, EVP of Atlas LA. This is a rare opportunity to learn from an agent who has built departments, developed talent from the ground up, and helped shape long-term careers across multiple areas of voice-over. Audit seats are available for those who want to observe, learn, and take notes. About Heather: Heather Dame is the EVP of Atlas LA, where she leads the company’s West Coast office and heads the animation department. She moved to Los Angeles over 15 years ago to help build the branch from the ground up, developing new client relationships, expanding areas of business, and carefully shaping a successful talent roster. She built Atlas’ animation and games department from scratch and has helped develop the commercial, video game, promo, narration, and trailer divisions. Today, Atlas LA is one of the top voice-over agencies in the city. In addition to managing the office, Heather works directly with talent across animation, promos, trailers, narration, and video games. She is deeply committed to diversity and inclusion, and focuses on discovering and developing underrepresented talent to help them build sustainable, long-term careers in voice over. NOTE: You will receive both a confirmation email right after you register and a reminder email 24 hours before the class. The emails will contain all the information needed to prepare you for class. If you cannot locate your confirmation email, please check your spam folder or promotions tab (gmail) before contacting us! Policies for Online Classes: • All classes are recorded, and links to view or download them are provided to all enrolled students within three days after the class. • If, for any reason, you can not make the date/time of class, you will still be given access to view the entire workshop with the recorded video. Equipment and Attendance: • Professional gear is not required, but students must have a phone, tablet, or computer with reliable access to Zoom, a camera, and audio. • Cameras are mandatory for class and must be turned on for the duration of the beginning portion of class. Once attendance is taken and class has started, cameras may be turned off at the discretion of the instructor. Cancellation Policy: • Payment is only refundable if cancelled at least 72 hours before the event. Funds will be returned to the original form of payment. • If cancellation occurs prior to 48 hours before the start of the event, but less than 72 hours before the event, payment will be nonrefundable, but may be rolled over to another workshop. • For any cancellation occurring less than 48 hours before the start of the workshop, payment will be forfeited.
