Youth Intro to Voice Over Workshop

About this class:

This class is completely hands on! You will work closely with our Voice Director, Katie Zeiner to cover a variety of topics to get you going in the world of voice over as a kid or teen.

• Ages 9-18

• Lots of time on the mic

• Discuss voice over specific mic technique

• Cover both commercial and animation genres

• Parents and students will have a chance to talk with our engineer about how to get set up at home to record auditions

About your instructor:

Katie Zeiner was the booth director for over 7 years at SBV. She has directed everyone from those embarking on their voiceover careers to seasoned pros and celebrities. Katie is also an actor who has worked in TV, has an extensive background in improv and was a member/performer of L.A. Theatresports for 10 years. She has taught and performed improv all over the country. Katie’s warmth, experience and sharp insight make her classes a comfortable environment where students are encouraged to play and trust their instincts.

Up to 24 hours before the event payment is nonrefundable, but may be rolled over to another workshop. Any cancellation less than 24 hours before the start time/ date of the workshop, payment will be forfeited.
