Week 1: Getting comfortable behind the mic and in the booth.

Week 2: Finding your commercial voice. Home recording Basics.

Week 3: Interpreting commercial copy. Home recording review.

Week 4: Commercial character & Partner reads.

Week 5: Auditioning and preparing for your commercial demo.

This class is completely hands on! Not only will you be up at the mic every week, but you will have homework that will include setting up to record auditions from home. You will work closely with Voice Director, Katie Zeiner. Katie spent 8 years working as the booth director for SBV here in Los Angeles. Having worked alongside agents, talent, and clients; Katie has a unique perspective into what books and what doesn't. Learning and taking direction from an instructor that was integral in placing talent in national commercial spots will help you grow as a voice actor.
