In this workshop we'll be breaking down network sports promo copy and getting direction and advice from veteran network producer editor, James Freeman

About Your Instructor:

James is the current Promo Producer and Senior Editor for Bally Sports West, SoCal, and San Diego. Before Bally acquired Fox Sports he had been with Fox Sports producing promos since 1998. He's won 14 Emmys in LA and SD markets for promos, teases and editing, and has one countless Promax and Telly awards.

Donovan has been a professional voice actor for over 15 years. While he has experience in many genres of VO, the bulk of his work is in the wonderful (and wild) world of promos. He has voiced campaigns for BET, NBC, FOX, ESPN, HGTV, VH1, Comedy Central, Cartoon Network, NatGeo, Paramount Network, IFC, and many more. He is also currently the promo voice of the Today Show on NBC and the network voice of Fox Sports West, PrimeTicket, and Fox Sports San Diego.

Class is limited to 12 students. 18 and over. Cameras are mandatory for class intro.

*** This online workshop will be hosted and recorded in Zoom. Everyone will receive a link to download the video of the workshop the following day. If for any reason you can not make the date/ time you will still be able to view the entire workshop with the recorded video. Due to limited seats available, payment is only refundable up to 72 hours before the event. Up to 48 hours before the event payment is nonrefundable, but may be rolled over to another workshop. Any cancellation less than 48 hours before the start time/ date of the workshop, payment will be forfeited.
