About This Workshop:

In this 3 hour intensive you will work closely with the Media Networks Marketing Manager of The Walt Disney Company Africa, Samira Gerin-Singh to discover what it takes to land a Disney family promo read. You will gain an understanding of what a veteran producer and creative at Disney is looking for from voice talent as they are tasked with pleasing clients with millions on the line. 

About Your Instructor:

Samira Gerin-Singh is Media Networks Marketing Manager of The Walt Disney Company Africa, overseeing National Geographic, National Geographic Wild, FOX, Disney and ESPN brands.

She is also a local and international award-winning creative with over 15 years of experience working both in creative agencies and broadcast networks as a promo producer and later creative director.

Samira is a regular Promax conference speaker and judge, worldwide, as well as Chairperson of Promax Africa.

Brent Allen Hagel is the founder and owner of Trailer Voice Artists. TVA is a casting and talent development company for top tier voice actors in the promo and trailer genres. With Trailer Voice Artists, Brent has cast voice actors for The Golden Trailer Awards, Trailer Park Inc, Disney Parks, Netflix, Sony Pictures, and the U.S. Marines to name a few. Brent is also a working promo and trailer voice actor himself. His credits span iconic networks and shows such as, Spotify, Lego, 3M, Lexus, NBC Megyn Kelly, CBS Instinct, NCAA, NHL Network, ICC Soccer League, HBO Boxing, and more. 

Class is limited to 12 students. 18 and over. Cameras are mandatory for class intro.

*** This online workshop will be hosted and recorded in Zoom. Everyone will receive a link to download the video of the workshop the following day. If for any reason you can not make the date/ time you will still be able to view the entire workshop with the recorded video. Due to limited seats available, payment is only refundable up to 48 hours before the event. Up to 24 hours before the event payment is nonrefundable, but may be rolled over to another workshop. Any cancellation less than 24 hours before the start time/ date of the workshop, payment will be forfeited.
