About This Workshop:
In this online workshop we'll walk through all the basics of recording at home including acoustic treatment, microphone choice, remote recording apps like Source Connect, and a simple workflow for delivering a voice over audition in Audacity. We'll cover tips to address common issues that arise like mouth noise, a noisy room and unwanted breaths. We'll also discuss recording basics like microphone placement and proper recording levels.
About Your Instructor:
Mike DeLay is the Owner/ Audio Engineer/ Demo Producer at Real Voice L.A. He studied audio engineering at Musicians Institute here in Los Angeles and is an Avid Pro Tools HD Certified Operator. Mike has worked as a free lance audio engineer, mix engineer, music editor and composer.
