About This Workshop:

In this 2-week course will focus on New York and Boston accents:  the basics, the similarities, the differences, and the common mistakes.  Class will have viewing homework, text work, and accent games:  Mets vs Sox!

About Your Instructor:

Keri Safran is a Certified Knight-Thompson Speechwork Teacher whose private dialect clients range from Oscar and Tony winners to beginner actors. She’s the coach for characters on HBO Max’s The Staircase, Star Trek: Picard, SHO’s The First Lady, et al, and has coached productions at theatres across the country, including Barrington Stage Company (MA) and Studio Theatre (DC).  As an actress she recently Guest Starred on Blue Bloods, shot a feature as Christina Hendricks’ sister/Kunal Nayyar’s wife based on NY Times bestseller, ‘The Storied Life of AJ Fikry,’ and starred Off-Broadway opposite Tony Roberts, John Rubinstein, Dan Lauria, Alley Mills & Lindsay Crouse in the revival of Morning’s at Seven.
