In this workshop we'll be breaking down network news promo copy and getting direction and advice from network writer producer, Jennifer Kaas! 

About Your Instructor:

Jennifer is an Emmy and Promax Gold Award winning writer/producer for NBCNews, with over 20 years experience.

In this workshop you will learn about the world of news promo and you will read real NBCNews/Today Show copy and get feedback on how to improve your reads.

Hosted by Donovan Corneetz:

Donovan has been a professional voice actor for over 15 years. While he has experience in many genres of VO, the bulk of his work is in the wonderful (and wild) world of promos. He has voiced campaigns for BET, NBC, FOX, ESPN, HGTV, VH1, Comedy Central, Cartoon Network, NatGeo, Paramount Network, IFC, and many more. He is also currently the promo voice of the Today Show on NBC and the network voice of Fox Sports West, PrimeTicket, and Fox Sports San Diego.

Class is limited to 12 students. 18 and over. Cameras are mandatory for class intro.

*** This online workshop will be hosted and recorded in Zoom. Everyone will receive a link to download the video of the workshop the following day. If for any reason you can not make the date/ time you will still be able to view the entire workshop with the recorded video. Due to limited seats available, payment is only refundable up to 72 hours before the event. Up to 48 hours before the event payment is nonrefundable, but may be rolled over to another workshop. Any cancellation less than 48 hours before the start time/ date of the workshop, payment will be forfeited.
