$125 Online Workshop

About This Workshop:

In the world of unscripted and doc television, there is nothing more important in the TV network's eyes, than the cold open. Part promo, part commercial, and part narration, the cold open is viewed as the make-or-break moment between the audience tuning in or changing the channel.

As an in-show narrator, it's your job to harness the perfect balance of energy, excitement and stakes, and then transition into the rest of the show seamlessly. In this intensive, you'll get a deep understanding about why cold opens are so important to this genre of television and then get put through the paces, as if you were being directed in an actual session.
