About This Workshop:

This workshop is tailored towards refining your delivery of Spanish voice-over for American markets. We’ll have plenty of scripts from various brands to choose from, you’ll have the opportunity to get in the booth and be directed, get tips on how to deal with difficult directors and poorly translated copy, and we’ll definitely have fun doing it.

Esta clase se enfoca en desarrollar tu voz en Español para el mercado Americano. Tendremos guiones de varias marcas y tonos, tendrás la oportunidad de grabar en la cabina y recibir dirección, aprenderás como manejar una sesión con directores dificiles y guiones traducidas mal, y seguramente nos divertiremos en el proceso.

About Your Instructor:

The son of a career radio announcer by the same name, Miguel Romero has been involved in voice over since he could practically speak a full sentence. He recorded his first Spanish voice over at eight years old, became union eligible ten years later after voicing a multi-year bilingual campaign for the US Army, and has since been actively working as a commercial VO talent for the past 15 years. He has voiced bilingual, national commercials for clients such as McDonald’s, Nissan, AT&T, Pepsi, Verizon, and countless regional brands. Miguel is a member of SAG-AFTRA.

El hijo del locutor con el mismo nombre, Miguel Romero empezó su carrera casi desde que podia hablar una frase completa. Grabó su primer comercial a los 8 años, 10 años después fue elegible para SAG luego de prestar su voz para su primer campaña nacional bilingüe para el ejercito de los EU, y ha seguido trabajando regularmente en VO por los pasados 15 años. Ha trabajado con clientes nacionales como McDonald’s, Nissan, AT&T, Pepsi, Verizon, y varios clientes regionales. Miguel es miembro de SAG-AFTRA.
