Week 1: Auditions Unveiled Discover the secrets of landing that role! Learn the art of crafting compelling auditions that captivate casting directors. From character analysis to script interpretation, this week sets the stage for directing yourself in sessions.

Week 2: Reviewing and Critiquing our own work

Dive into the heart of gaming dialogue.We’ll listen to prepared max 1 min auditions (plus other auditions) and unpack the underlying choices that work and don’t work and why. We’ll use movement in the booth to get the right sounds for all physicality.

Week 3: Making stronger choices in the Booth - Embrace your Power!

Generate the courage to stand out. Hone your ability to pick choices that express emotion, personality, and depth in your performances. This week is your ticket to mastering the diverse roles that make performances unforgettable.

About Your Instructor:

Trine Jensen casts and directs Dubbing for foreign TV and Film. She directs VO in games and teaches workshops on VO and Performance Capture in the US and Europe. She is also an experienced voice over, theatre director, and occasional performer. She is known for approaching character creation from the body how to make bold courageous performance choices especially for VO and Pcap in Games. Trine holds a BFA in Theatre from New World School of the Arts. In addition to directing and performing, Trine brings her many years as a healer to her acting coaching, helping actors achieve breakthroughs in their performance.

*** This workshop will be hosted in person at Real Voice LA and recorded on Zoom. Everyone will receive a link to download the video of the workshop the following day. If for any reason you can not make the date/ time you will still be able to view the entire workshop with the recorded video. Due to limited seats available, payment is only refundable up to 48 hours before the event. Up to 24 hours before the event payment is nonrefundable, but may be rolled over to another workshop. Any cancellation less than 24 hours before the start time/ date of the workshop, payment will be forfeited.
