About This Class:

3 week Commercial Bootcamp will feature one-on-one instruction with real commercial copy, with insight and information about the principles of voiceover and commercial auditions. Each week, students will read and work through actual television and radio commercials and cover the analysis of scripts and the development of their own casual, bookable “commercial“ sound. The class will culminate in a mock commercial voiceover booking session, to give the students the experience of recording, taking direction and adjusting performance as in an actual session.

About Your Instructor:

Craig Lee Thomas is a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, and was recently the voice of the long-running Postmates “When All You Can ____ Is Think About” campaign. Other commercial VO credits include Bank of America, Campbell's, Cricket, Dunkin, Honda, Maryland Lottery, Petco, Phillips 66, and many more. Previously, Craig has been the voice of AT&T's In-House Creative Group, HP's Intel Elite PC/Printer campaign starring Christian Slater and Jonathan Banks, provided promo VO for ABC, narration for Investigation Discovery, and dubbing for Netflix and Max. Craig has also performed in over 50 interactive titles including 'Helldivers 2', 'Trails through Daybreak', 'Honkai Star Rail', 'Starfield' and 'Octopath Traveler 2'. Craig also writes and directs both Commercial and Interactive demos at RVLA. Craig is represented by Dean Panaro Talent.

*** This workshop will be hosted in person at Real Voice LA and recorded on Zoom. Everyone will receive a link to download the video of the workshop the following day. If for any reason you can not make the date/ time you will still be able to view the entire workshop with the recorded video. Due to limited seats available, payment is only refundable up to 48 hours before the event. Up to 24 hours before the event payment is nonrefundable, but may be rolled over to another workshop. Any cancellation less than 24 hours before the start time/ date of the workshop, payment will be forfeited.
