About This Workshop:

This 3-week class is a fun ride into character creation for mocap. You will be using your body as a quick and instinctual path to finding the unique physicality and voice of a variety of characters and creatures resulting in solid character creation. You’ll be introduced to some stable acting methods such as Strasberg and Alexander technique applied to the new medium of motion and performance capture.

About Your Instructor:

Trine Jensen casts and directs Dubbing for foreign TV and Film. She directs VO in games and teaches workshops on VO and Performance Capture in the US and Europe. She is also an experienced voice over, theatre director, and occasional performer. She is known for approaching character creation from the body how to make bold courageous performance choices especially for VO and Pcap in Games. Trine holds a BFA in Theatre from New World School of the Arts. In addition to directing and performing, Trine brings her many years as a healer to her acting coaching, helping actors achieve breakthroughs in their performance.

*** This workshop will be hosted in person at Real Voice LA and recorded on Zoom. Everyone will receive a link to download the video of the workshop the following day. If for any reason you can not make the date/ time you will still be able to view the entire workshop with the recorded video. Due to limited seats available, payment is only refundable up to 48 hours before the event. Up to 24 hours before the event payment is nonrefundable, but may be rolled over to another workshop. Any cancellation less than 24 hours before the start time/ date of the workshop, payment will be forfeited.
