About This Workshop:
As a voice actor, you can sometimes get stuck in a rut of “doing voices,” and wonder why you're not booking. You sometimes forget that your job is to make characters literally come to life for your audience. To create living, breathing characters that move people and to make them feel things, just like an on-camera actor. Even though cartoon and video game characters might seem 2-dimensional, your job is to make them multi-dimensional, infusing that monkey, high elf, talking dump-truck or ogre with a soul and a life all their own. Learn how to recognize the difference between "doing a voice" and creating a character that comes to life and transports the listener to another world . . . this is the key to booking!
