Want to work in gacha games? In this workshop you will cover crucial skills to book this ever expanding genre like cold reading, adaptability, and how to deliver three dementional performances. You will get a breakdown of the ins and outs of the casting process specific to gacha games, as well as learn about the different types of reads and performances needed to book player charaters, NPCs, and more. 

About your instructor:

Kira Buckland is a full-time voice actor based in the Los Angeles area, who has been working professionally in the industry since 2012. She has recorded for hundreds of video games, but notable gacha game credits include playable character Kuki Shinobu in “Genshin Impact”, the female protagonist as well as Meryl, Hilda and Hannah in “Tower of Fantasy”, Eirika and Katarina in “Fire Emblem Heroes”, Privaty & Novel in “NIKKE”, Jeume in “Final Fantasy Brave Exvius: War of the Visions”, and various NPCs in “Honkai Star Rail”. 

Other video game credits include NieR:Automata, Soulcalibur VI, Street Fighter, River City Girls, Persona 5 Strikers, Danganronpa, BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle, Tales of Zestiria, Ace Attorney and many more. With dubbing credits including JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, YashaHime, Demon Slayer, Love Live, Magia Record, ReZero, Sleepy Princess, Kakegurui and Blue Exorcist. Kira is the founder and head admin of the online community "Voice Acting Club" (www.voiceactingclub.com) which provides various resources for voice actors of all levels, as well as for indie content creators looking to work with voice talent.

Class is limited to 12 students. 18 and over. Cameras are mandatory for class intro.

*** This online workshop will be hosted and recorded in Zoom. Everyone will receive a link to download the video of the workshop the following day. If for any reason you can not make the date/ time you will still be able to view the entire workshop with the recorded video. Due to limited seats available, payment is only refundable up to 72 hours before the event. Up to 48 hours before the event payment is nonrefundable, but may be rolled over to another workshop. Any cancellation less than 48 hours before the start time/ date of the workshop, payment will be forfeited.
