You will not only cover what it takes to make your gaming and animation reads stand out, but also cover the ins and out about creating content for social media as a voice actor. 

About your instructor:

With an extensive background in voice over, motion capture, and on-camera, Shelby Young has been an actor all her life. A self-proclaimed nerd with an affinity for cats, theme parks and sushi, Shelby may be best known for her work in both animation and games throughout the Star Wars galaxy, including multiple LEGO Star Wars specials voicing Princess Leia, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, Ahsoka, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and more. Shelby's also known for her work in AAA game titles such as God of War: Ragnarök, Wolfenstein Youngblood and Horizon Call of the Mountain along with animated series including Apple TV's Strange Planet, Nickelodeon's Baby Shark's Big Show! and Miraculous Ladybug & Cat Noir: The Movie. When Shelby's not in the booth or on the mocap stage, you can find her on her multiple social media platforms where she shares her pitch-perfect impressions and comedic voice over content for an audience of over 6 million followers and subscribers.

Class is limited to 12 students. 18 and over. Cameras are mandatory for class intro.

*** This online workshop will be hosted and recorded in Zoom. Everyone will receive a link to download the video of the workshop the following day. If for any reason you can not make the date/ time you will still be able to view the entire workshop with the recorded video. Due to limited seats available, payment is only refundable up to 72 hours before the event. Up to 48 hours before the event payment is nonrefundable, but may be rolled over to another workshop. Any cancellation less than 48 hours before the start time/ date of the workshop, payment will be forfeited.
