About this Workshop:

As a casting director, G.K. is always on the lookout for new talent who have several characters in their repertoire. Often during recording sessions for animated shows or movies, an actor is asked to provide a second or even third character for a scene. Sometimes in the same scene as your other character! In this workshop, we'll work on creating significantly different characters within your voice range that can be called upon in any session with confidence where a new character is needed. Get ready to talk to yourself in this fun workshop!

About your instructor:

A twenty-year veteran of the industry, G.K. Bowes spans both the voice acting and voice directing spectrum. In addition to voice directing for Disney TVA as well as several independent animation studios, G.K. can also be frequently heard in countless television and radio commercials, promos for Fox and the Pac-12 Network, toys, animated films and series, video games, audiobooks, learning apps, and even amusement park rides and attractions.

Class is limited to 12 students. 18 and over. Cameras are mandatory for class intro.

*** This online workshop will be hosted and recorded in Zoom. Everyone will receive a link to download the video of the workshop the following day. If for any reason you can not make the date/ time you will still be able to view the entire workshop with the recorded video. Due to limited seats available, payment is only refundable up to 72 hours before the event. Up to 48 hours before the event payment is nonrefundable, but may be rolled over to another workshop. Any cancellation less than 48 hours before the start time/ date of the workshop, payment will be forfeited.
