About This Workshop:

Doing funny voices is one thing, but being able to create and sustain a full-fledged, three-dimensional character is another! In this three-part boot camp, JP will take you through the basics of creating a repertoire of characters you can use in your auditions and on the fly in your gigs. You'll start by identifying the unique colors within your own voice. Then you'll use those elements to assemble different voices, attach them to living, breathing characters, and make adjustments when approaching the specs in audition copy. At the end of the three sessions, you'll have a paintbox of tools you can use for auditions, demos and gigs!

About Your Instructor:

JP Karliak is a voiceover artist, writer, solo performer and snappy dresser. JP is the voice of Boss Baby in "The Boss Baby: Back In Business" on Netflix, Wile E. Coyote in New Looney Tunes, the Tin Man in Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz, Willy Wonka in Tom and Jerry: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and numerous Marvel heroes and villains, among others.
