Voice Acting for Gacha Games AUDIT ONLY - $50 Participant seats are SOLD OUT •Hosted on Zoom •Tuesday, February 17th, 6 pm to 9 pm •Audit ONLY - $50 •18+ With the worldwide popularity of gacha-style games, many actors have a goal to work on this type of media---or book more of it. In this workshop, you will get a chance to read gacha game-style copy for one-on-one feedback, ask questions, and learn how to elevate your reads to make strong acting choices that will help your audition stand out in a sea of other hopefuls. Together, we will craft a mock audition worthy of a FIVE-STAR character pull! Workshop participants will be given take-home notes that go over key skills for voice acting in gacha games. As this workshop is focused on a specialized area of voiceover, participants are recommended to have already taken classes on basic acting foundations. Mock audition sides will be provided; however, participants are welcome to bring their own copy in a similar style to work on. About your instructor: Kira Buckland is a full-time voice actor who has worked professionally in the Los Angeles industry since 2012. She has recorded for hundreds of video games, but notable gacha game credits include playable characters in Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, Arknights: Endfield, NIKKE: Goddess of Victory, Fire Emblem Heroes, Strinova, Fate Trigger Novita, Tower of Fantasy, NieR:Reincarnation, Dragon Raja ReRise and many more! ⚠️ Important Legal Notice: This workshop is for educational purposes only and is not an audition. NOTE: You will receive both a confirmation email right after you register and a reminder email 24 hours before the class. The emails will contain all the information needed to prepare you for class. If you cannot locate your confirmation email, please check your spam folder or promotions tab (gmail) before contacting us! Policies for Online Classes: • All classes are recorded, and links to view or download them are provided to all enrolled students within three days after the class. • If, for any reason, you can not make the date/time of class, you will still be given access to view the entire workshop with the recorded video. Equipment and Attendance: • Professional gear is not required, but students must have a phone, tablet, or computer with reliable access to Zoom, a camera, and audio. • Cameras are mandatory for class and must be turned on for the duration of the beginning portion of class. Once attendance is taken and class has started, cameras may be turned off at the discretion of the instructor. Cancellation Policy: • Payment is only refundable if cancelled at least 72 hours before the event. Funds will be returned to the original form of payment. • If cancellation occurs prior to 48 hours before the start of the event, but less than 72 hours before the event, payment will be nonrefundable, but may be rolled over to another workshop. • For any cancellation occurring less than 48 hours before the start of the workshop, payment will be forfeited.
